1.
For optimal results, position the Snore
Stopper Chin Pillow when sitting upright (not lying
down in bed).
2.
Allow 3-5 days of adjusting the velco strap and the chin pillow
filling to find the most comfortable position for you. The
objective is to keep the largest part of the pillow under
your chin. This keeps your ‘air ways’ open while you sleep.
3.
For comfort we have made the Snore Stopper
Chin Pillow out of a very soft cotton knit material.
Stretching, twisting or hanging the Snore Stopper can result
in changing the shape of the pillow. This may result in flattening
the pillow, making the your chin height insufficient to keep
your ‘air ways’ open.
4.
The Snore Stopper Chin Pillow should
be stored on a flat surface when not in use.
5.
We have designed the pillow so ‘one size fits all’. If you
have any problems with size adjustment or positioning please
contact us at snorestopper@aapt.net.au.
6.
Still snoring? Some people may not be aware of the fact that
they snore because they have sinus problems:
- A hot shower before bedtime can help ‘clear the sinuses’
and reduce snoring.
- If the Snore Stopper pillow is still not reducing your snoring,
check your bed pillow. We recommend using two pillows, a firm
one underneath and a soft pillow on top on a downward angle
facing you. This helps keep the sinuses clear while you sleep
elevated.
- Alternatively, you can achieve the same effect by placing
folded towels under your main sleeping pillow one at a time
until you reach the height or elevation which allows the Snore
Stopper to become most effective.
